After the culmination of 9 months of intensive research, I finished writing and editing my paper on Anime Piano music. The final page count is 186-pages. It was published on T-Space, an open research repository operated by the University of Toronto.

In this paper, I discussed a variety of different topics such as:

  • Literature review regarding Anime Music scholarship.

  • Non-Academic literature review regarding Animenz.

  • What is Anime.

  • An exploration of Anime OP and ED.

  • Japanese Piano Education.

  • Animenz's arranging style (The Classical Style).

  • How different academic music lenses would view this phenomena.

  • Possible performance practice and considerations.

  • The potential for responsive pedagogy.

  • The results of a survey I conducted with the Piano Faculty.

  • And More.......
