After the culmination of 9 months of intensive research, I finished writing and editing my paper on Anime Piano music. The final page count is 186-pages. It was published on T-Space, an open research repository operated by the University of Toronto.
In this paper, I discussed a variety of different topics such as:
Literature review regarding Anime Music scholarship.
Non-Academic literature review regarding Animenz.
What is Anime.
An exploration of Anime OP and ED.
Japanese Piano Education.
Animenz's arranging style (The Classical Style).
How different academic music lenses would view this phenomena.
Possible performance practice and considerations.
The potential for responsive pedagogy.
The results of a survey I conducted with the Piano Faculty.
And More.......
